Natasha's Phonagrammer
August 26, 1995
This little application will take a phone number and compute all
possible combinations of embedded words which can be formed using
the letters associated with the numbers on the telephone keypad.
Interesting ones can be used as mnemonics (like 1-800-CALLME, etc.)
You can put dashes and parentheses (and anything else) in the number,
but the 'boundaries' formed are respected, so you'll get better results
by leaving them out.
The words are found by scanning the included text file "Dictionary", which
must reside in the same folder as the program. You can edit the file to add
or delete words, or replace it with one of your own choosing. Just make sure
there's one word per line.
I wrote this for my 13 year old stepdaughter Natasha, who's *always* on the
phone, hence the name. The $7 shareware fee goes to her college fund, so
send it to
